1. What are your hire charges? 
We have two rates – Volunteer, Community, Charity rate AND Agency, Business, Private party rate. To qualify for the lowest rate please speak to us to see if you qualify. To find out our current charges, please look at the Bookings section on our website. 

2. How big is the large room? 
9.38m x 7.53m (30 feet and 9 ½  inches by 24 feet and 8 ½ inches) 

3. How many people are you allowed in the large room? 
The fire safety limit is 50 people. You can seat 40 people comfortably 

4. How big is the small meeting room? 
4.90m x 3.95m (16 feet by 12 feet 11 ½ inches) 

5. How many people are you allowed in the small meeting room? 
The fire safety limit is 15 people. You can sit 8-10 people comfortably. 

6. Are we allowed to serve or sell alcohol? 
No 

7. Are we allowed to use indoor fireworks?
No 

8. Are we allowed to have any type of indoor inflatable/bouncy castle? 
No 

9. Are we allowed to use our own electrical equipment?
Yes, as long as it has a current PAT sticker 

10.  Are we allowed to hire a DJ or similar?

Yes, as long as all equipment has a current PAT sticker 

11.  What times can we hire the centre for a private party? 
From 10am to 9pm. This is because the centre is in a built up residential area. 

12.  Do we have time to set up for our booking? 
Yes, you have a free half hour to set up and tidy away. 

13.  How do we book? 
Contact us by using the booking request form  and you will be told if the centre is available. 

14.  Is the centre staffed? What are the opening hours? 
a.       The centre is run by volunteers and not staffed and does not have set opening hours. 

15.  Is there disabled/wheelchair access? 
Yes, there is a wheelchair friendly toilet, disabled blue badge parking spaces and the centre is single storey. 

16.  Are there baby changing facilities? 
Yes 

17.  Is there a kitchen available to hire? 
Yes, there’s a gas 6 ring cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave,  hot water boiler for hot drinks,  cutlery, mugs and limited cooking utensils.  We recommend bringing your own cooking equipment to avoid disappointment. 

18.  Is there a landline we can use? 
No 

19.  Is there free WiFi? 
Yes, the network username and password is on all notice boards. 

20.  Can we use the field next to the centre?
No - this land is owned by Telford & Wrekin Council. If you want to use the field for an event or organised activity you’ll need to contact Telford and Wrekin Council events team, go to www.telford.gov.uk for more information. 

21.  Is there a car park? 
Yes, there is a small car park, 14 spaces and 2 disabled spaces. 

22.  Are we expected to take our own rubbish home? 
No, if you have a lot of rubbish after your event, we ask you to bag it, tie it up and leave in the kitchen. The trustee signed to your event will put the bags in our outside bin. 

23.  Is there a computer, printer, copier we can use? 
No 

24.  Is there a projector and screen we can use?
There is a screen that you are welcome to use with your own projector.  We do have a projector that regular hirers can use, this is locked away. 

25.  Is there any storage? 
No 

26.  Is there a hearing loop? 
Yes, please ask a trustee for guidance.
